Horse joint pain is something that has never crossed my mind. I always assumed horses, like my horse Semper, didn’t feel pain or get sick. So when my gorgeous stallion started showing signs of arthritis, I had no clue what to do. Luckily I found Dr. Ava Frick’s website about her Animal Fitness Center. I discovered that all animals, including horses, can become ill in the same ways as a human. If I did not take my equine to Dr. Ava Frick so soon he might of had horse paralysis and I would have never forgiven myself.Animal Pain Relief

After a horse is over 15 years old Dr. Ava Frick told me that it is common for them to get equine arthritis. Just like us, their tendons can wear down and ache in cold weather. I have had Semper since I was 14 and am realizing that he is growing old too and experiencing horse arthritis and stiffness and swelling. I was not able to tell that my beloved horse was suffering for so long because I could not tell he was in any pain. I still let him endure hours of practice and even burden him with too much physical activity as I ride him to go around our farm every day.

Equine joint pain is usually treated with medications and drugs. I know that pain medication and drugs can be harmful to my horses organs. I really wanted to make sure Semper’s care was as natural and holistic as possible. Good thing Dr. Ava Frick also supports different types of therapy and pain management programs that are all natural. The main thing I liked about the Animal Fitness Center is their alternative treatment to relieving pain and discomfort in all animals. They are not only concerned about eradicating pain using gadgets and devices, but they are also concerned of the proper nutrition needed to hasten the recuperation of the problems and diseases of the animals in their clinic. I was truly relieved to see how my horse was cared for during his stay at the Animal Fitness Center.

One of the things that I really appreciated about Dr. Ava Frick is the chiropractic service she did for my Semper. Treating an animals condition in this matter targets the actual problem and doesn’t just mask the symptoms. Even though medicine can relieve the horse joint pain that Semper felt, they usually don’t even treat the actual problem just the symptoms. Massage therapy combined with PST, Pulsed Signal Therapy, was able to not only treat his pain but also helped the function of his problem areas. Already Semper is showing improvement after just a few weeks at the Animal Fitness Center.Animal Chiropractic
